The opening ceremony inside the Horses & Dreams stadium on Wednesday evening has become an indispensable element of the event.

A traditional ecumenical service leads into a vibrant, international welcome  celebration for the participants and competitors of Horses & Dreams, with music and a meeting at the fountain of the nations, where Ullrich Kasselmann, guests of honour and riders from the partner country traditionally pour water into the fountain together.

The opening ceremony also includes the residents of Hagen a.T.W. as well as the surrounding communities and makes them feel welcome alongside the participants from more than 35 nations.
