Visitors can expect a popular blend of world-class dressage, international show jumping, a diverse exhibition and family-friendly show elements – all set in the unique atmosphere of Hof Kasselmann. As the opening stage of major national series such as the NÜRNBERGER Burg-Pokal, Louisdor-Preis and Germany’s U25 Jumping Cup, as well as international show jumping and dressage competitions up to four-star level, Horses & Dreams is once again setting the course for sporting success.
With a special lottery, “20 Years Horses & Dreams” honoured Hans Günter Winkler’s legacy whilst supporting the future. Prizes included unique memorabilia from the show-jumping legend’s collection – including the trophy for his first victory in the Aachen Grand Prix with Orient in 1954. Half of the proceeds of 13,000 Euro went to the German Equestrian Foundation to support young talent, and the other half to the “Riding Against Hunger” initiative, which supports international educational projects.
Two exclusive, limited-edition Swarovski horses named ‘Esperanza’ (Spanish for ‘hope’) were also among the special prizes in the raffle. In addition to the main prizes, participants received further attractive prizes, including ticket vouchers for the VR Classics Neumünster 2027 and Horses & Dreams 2027.
When Horses & Dreams opens its doors from 22 to 26 April 2026, it will not only mark the traditional start of the German outdoor season, but also a special anniversary: for 20 years, the concept of partner countries has shaped the international equestrian event in Hagen am Teutoburger Wald. What began in 2006 with the Sultanate of Oman has developed into a permanent feature – and a crowd puller that combines sporting quality with cultural diversity and creative staging.
