25 Apr Alexa Stais wins the CSI2* Medium Tour Final
Hagen a.T.W. –
The first round of the Medium Tour Final, Prize of Jaguar Land Rover Deutschland GmbH, lasted three hours. Such was the popularity of the CSI2* jumping competition over 1.40 m/1.45 m. 21 riders qualified for the jump-off, which proved to be very exciting to watch. In the end, a young rider from South Africa, who has been living in Germany for many years now, led the victory lap, albeit without spectators and their applause due to the Corona. Alexa Stais and Cera (Chap x Restorator) went clear in the second fastest time of 34.0 seconds. Toni Hassmann had been a few hundredths of a second faster with Contendrix, but slipped to eighth place due to a rail. Second place went to the long-time leader Patrick Stühlmeyer on Diaron OLD, ahead of Tobias Meyer on Take a last Chance van de Brae and Philip Rüping on Chaquitos PS.
This year Horses & Dreams will not take place as usual, but under strict regulations and without spectators on site. For all those who unfortunately cannot be there this year – all competitions will be broadcast on ClipMyHorse.TV.
